Celebrating Christmas with Grandma

Oh how I love, love, love this day every year!  

We have the best time being creative {and messy}

This year we decorated gingerbread houses, 

made Christmas cards for Lindsay,

played a fun Christmas game,

made adorable paper Christmas trees,

and dipped yummy cake balls on a stick!

wow - all in 2 crazy hours!!

Today was bittersweet, happy, sad, wonderful, 

dream-come-true-like, teary and beautiful all at the same time.

Seth & Alli are married!

It was a lovely ceremony.

they were so happy...

and so in love.

We are thrilled to have 

cute little Alli 

as part of our family!

she's 21

Twenty one!

 21 years ago when Lindsay Erin joined our family, 

she came 15 days late... yes, 15 days!
{In the Vacaville sweltering heat, I might add}

She was due on July 31st but waited until August 15th.

 Lindsay was just too content and comfy cozy in the womb.

When the doctor finally decided to induce labor...
she still didn't want to come.

It took 2 days of great effort and coaxing
to convince this girl to emerge!

How very Lindsay.

two weeks of family fun!

We loved having Nate, Carrie and kids here with us for two weeks!

I think we did just about everything 

on their list... and more.

Just being together with family

makes for perfect happiness.
