We had planned to go skiing at Deer Valley on Friday.
As we always do when we are getting ready to ski, we asked
"Do we really want to do this??"
We thought of a million reasons not to go - too cold, too tired, too old, too many things to do, too far to drive {you know, it's an hour!} too much work and WAY too much STUFF! Like skiis, poles, goggles, hats, gloves, ipods, blackberries...
it's all so overwhelming!
But then, we decided to go for it and we didn't let the grumpiness get the best of us.
By the time we start heading up the mountain on the lift, we are feeling happy {and cold}
Two reasons we love Deer Valley. First, they have amazing food and for a Lytle man,
it's all about the food!
No yucky chili and hot dogs at this resort.
Check it out!
Where else can you get a full-on "Natural Buffet" at a ski resort?
Only at Deer Valley.
Richard's yummy, healthy plate of food.
Deer Valley also provides recliners for a lovely after lunch break in the sun:)
The second thing that we love about DV is the big, wide groomers.
Perfect for oldies but goodies like us!
So, at the end of the day... we were tired and happy.
Life is good.
